BFA’s end of Summer BBQ and charity event was a huge success!

On the evening of Friday 2nd September 2022, at Caxton Hall, Bow E3, Boxer’s Fitness Academy (BFA) in partnership with Malmesbury Community Projects (MCP), held their end of Summer BBQ and charity event.

The event was a huge success. It brought together people from the past and present associates of BFA and MCP, both young and old.
BFA management acknowledged that everyone had a tough few years, but through their fitness regime, mental and spiritual resilience, they managed to come through. BFA fitness programmes are tailored to meet the needs of the struggling community. Activities are catered for all; both new and experienced.
“It was a long and acutely hot summer. We waited for everyone to come back from their breaks for this event.” Said Ashraf Ali, the Head Coach and the brainchild of BFA.
“Our aim is to bring all the participants of BFA under one roof, have fun and food, as well as, think about the unfortunate people around the globe.” Added Ashraf.

There was plenty of opportunities for people to mingle and catch up with ample BBQ food on offer including, burgers, hotdogs, wings and chops. Activities included a couple of short but powerful reminders from Ashraf and Shaykh Saleem about enhancing our physical, mental and spiritual strengths to get closer to our Lord followed by a small collection for the Pakistan flood victims.

BFA’s next major event is their annual recognition and awards ceremony.
