This World Belongs To No One – Queen Is No More
Shofi Ahmed
Britain is mourning the death of the longest serving monarch and Queen who died yesterday afternoon. Notably the exact time of her death wasn’t revealed to the media to inform the public. Time is precious and exact timing is more than priceless. Its value is best known at the time of the death.

Because no one knows the exact time when one will die. It’s impossible to pinpoint. Al-Khowarizm the Muslim scientist, the inventor of the world’s machine, algorithm and the best known scientist Isac Newton probably will be remebered in many many ages to come for their spunking maths. But one maths they too could never do – finding one’s timing of the death.
Queen Elizabeth II had everything, the shines and sizzles that this sublunary world has to offer. But she too had to leave everything behind and live empty handed like anyone else. Mega rich and like one has nothing. Like a most powerful head of state and one that has no roof over the head or any food to eat.
We go empty handed, no exception. This world belongs to none of us. Then why are we here? Is it all emotion? Are we simply attached to this world because what? In fact no defined reason to tell but we like to live longer like everyone else. What does it mean, it’s emotion.
So is this a fantasy world? No. Is this a worthless world like many say? No.
It’s a very meaningful life. Take note. It’s a very important world. Your time is very precious. Islam says yours, ours times are most valuable that Allah SWT has gifted us. It’s therefore a very meaningful world. In fact death reminds us of an immensely valuable life because it fulfils a term and condition that it came with.
This world does not belong to us. Each of us comes here with an unknown time frame. Once the time is up we have to leave. It’s part of the terms and conditions that a life has. Like all other valuable things have conditions.
We pray salah fulfilling conditions making intention before salah. We marry agreeing with the terms of Aqt. The diamond, gold retain their condition. The user’s condition is to keep them safe or risk losing.
A life’s term and condition is to taste death. It’s not conditionless. It conforms with the valuable pattern. Here comes Islam. The giver of life Allah SWT tells in the Qur’an the terms and conditions of a life.
In Shaa Allah we will continue and find the example that I have mentioned last week.
