Continuing after a long while. True. As you read, however, you might see the murals on the show are not for a glance. But designed for fixed gazes. So without further ado let’s begin. How did the world begin, how did life come to be? These are some evergreen questions that make thoughtful men ponder. Till today in the very fast changing high tech era, like before when there was no technology, no algebra. Islam tells the background story of the creations of the universe. Science in progress tells its own narratives on the making of the universe. Nonetheless when it merges with Islam it’s a matter to be noted. With that note we start.

The Big Bang theory seems to have scored the title of the very beginning chapter of the universe. Because the proposition is it’s the first event that caused the creation. What’s more, while this pivotal discovery continues to motivate and enrich scientific studies, it seems to somehow align with the Qur’an.

Dr Omar Ayoub, based in Saudi Arabia, author of several international publications clearly described this in a publication. He wrote: ‘The theory of the origin of the universe is one of the most noteworthy scientific things mentioned in the Qur’an. Until 100 years ago, it was believed that the universe has no creator and has always existed. But Albert Einstein, during his field equations study, challenged this belief when he presented the theory that the universe is an expanding force that is growing like a balloon. Later, a mathematician and Belgian priest proposed that this expansion must have begun from an initial and dense point.’

‘The holy book of the Quran which came into existence centuries before the uncovering of the Big Bang theory details this idea. The text states that “do not the disbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were a closed-up mass (Ratqan), then we opened them out?” (Qur’an 21:31). The word Ratqan used in the text hints at darkness and closed up mass. This is exactly how the universe must have looked before the big bang happened, he added.

Point to note is that according to the Qur’an the substance of the Big Bang was Ratqan closed-up mass. It also means darkness. The mathematician and scientist has correctly reckoned it as the initial dense point. Now, let’s see a bigger picture of it zooming in closer. A wrapped up mass or concentrated dense point can be described as a piled up stock. Looking at the built up of a stock we can deduce some x, y, z sequences. The obvious sequence of a stock is that it must have moved from point x to its current amassed point y and to be distributed to the point z. That gives the road map of a stock which is piled up on a place to be distributed somewhere else.

Imagine it’s the obvious pattern of the motions of the closed-up dense mass that was built then banged. Delivered the stock to the point z. That surfaced. Thus, the universe was created. But where is the point x? The very initial point from where the concentration began resulting in piling up of the dense point. Can science uncover that, it’s very unlikely. Since science essentially is matter based.

The max it can go the distance falls within the physical range and dimensions of a matter. In other words, the physical reality is science a to z. Since in the scientific community the Big bang is deemed as the first physics it leaves no room for a pre matter to dive into its background.

So what do we do? We do have options indeed. Let’s login to the Qur’an next In Shaa Allah.
