On Sunday, 25th June, families poured into the London Muslim Centre, East London and had fun whilst picking up a bargain from the Eid Souk organised by the 8th East London Scout Group.

There was something for everyone to keep the whole family entertained, including fun arts & crafts, creative activities, archery, axe throwing, and bouncy castles on the first floor and food, drinks, cakes, burgers, slush, popcorn, henna, face-painting, boutique and jewellery stalls and Eid gifts.

Throughout the day, more than 2000 people visited the Eid Souk and had fun while meeting others and picking up bargains for Eid.

Abdul Mukith, lead for the 8th East London Scout, said, “Part of the scouts learning and development was to organise activities and events, and they’ve done a fantastic job.”

“This provides a safe space for families to come together for Eid shopping and enjoy the experience.” Added Abdul.

These funds will be for subsidising activities of the 8th East London Scout Group.
