London Enterprise Academy punches above its weight with outstanding GCSEs results

Published: 21 August 2025

London Enterprise Academy in Tower Hamlets is celebrating an excellent set of GCSEs results in 2025, marking a further improvement on last year’s performance. Pupils achieved results significantly above the national average in key subjects including English, Maths and Science.

Principal Ashid Ali said:

“I am incredibly proud of the dedication shown by our staff and students, especially as they have overcome many challenges over the past five years. These results show what can be achieved through hard work, resilience and the strong partnership between school and families.”

This year, London Enterprise Academy pupils are progressing to local colleges, sixth form centres and prestigious academic sixth forms such as Newham Collegiate Sixth Form (NCS), London Academy of Excellence (LAE), Brampton Manor, and Islington Sixth Form Consortium (ICS).

Parents have long valued the academy’s focus on ensuring that children are safe, respectful, well-mannered and leave school with strong qualifications. The Academy is delivering on this promise, giving young people the foundation they need for a bright future in London and beyond.

Unlike many local schools, students at London Enterprise Academy typically take a larger number of GCSEs, with strong encouragement to pursue additional qualifications in languages. Pupils have sat exams in Arabic, Bangla, French, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish and Russian, among others.
