The first ever Tower Hamlets Community Table Tennis Cup 2025 presented by London Sportif and Apex took place on Sunday 5th October 2025 at London Enterprise Academy, Commercial Road, Tower Hamlets.

This exciting new community tournament brought together players from across Tower Hamlets and beyond featuring strong participation from both young and adult players male and female alike.

Tournament Results:

Champion – Timothy Tian En Thai

Runner Up – Perry Fung

Consolation Event Winner – Milan Saujani

Congratulations to all the winners and well done to every participant for their great effort, energy and community spirit.

Table tennis an Olympic sport remains underrepresented in our local communities. Through this event London Sportif and Apex aim to raise awareness and inspire more people to take part. The organisers also call on the local authorities to help launch school tournaments to encourage young people to get involved and discover the joy of the game.

Apex currently runs regular table tennis sessions three days a week open to both young players and adults to promote the sport and support skill development within the community.

The tournament was a great success uniting residents and showcasing the positive impact of community sport.

London Sportif Manager Muhi Mikdad said: ’It’s a great way to promote table tennis in our community. We’ve seen incredible enthusiasm and sportsmanship from players of all ages today. Our goal is to build a stronger network of community clubs so that everyone regardless of age or background has access to sport and the opportunity to play.’
