Darul Ihsaan Barking leads the Community Baby Bank Appeal

On Tuesday 30th December, Darul Ihsaan Barking proudly launched the Darul Ihsaan Baby Bank as part of its local winter outreach programme; responding to the rising cost of living and its harsh impact on babies, toddlers and struggling families in our community.

Soaring prices for baby formula, nappies and everyday essentials are placing immense pressure on parents; particularly mothers; affecting wellbeing and increasing the risk of hardship through no fault of their own.
Babies need consistent nutrition, warmth and care to thrive, yet they have no voice. The Baby Bank exists to be that voice; ensuring dignity, protection and support at a time when families need it most.
Rooted in faith and guided by universal values of compassion, justice and care, this inclusive initiative is open to everyone, regardless of background or origin.
“We do this to protect dignity, support mothers, strengthen families and give children the best possible start in life.
This winter, we urgently need your help to provide essential items for mothers, babies and families with young children,” Said Imam Anas Khan
