Faith Inspire celebrates 10 Years of transforming lives and strengthening communities

Published: 28 June 2026

On Friday 19 June, community leaders, supporters and guests gathered at Redbridge Town Hall to celebrate a remarkable milestone as Faith Inspire marked 10 years of community impact.

The evening was expertly co-hosted by the inspiring young Aisha Humairah and Abul Kalam, whose warmth and energy guided guests through an uplifting programme of reflections, captivating performances and engaging discussions featuring both current and former Faith Inspire leaders.

Since its founding in 2016, Faith Inspire has evolved from a grassroots faith-based initiative into a thriving platform dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders. Through its flagship programmes; Scouts, Steps, Strive and Leap; the organisation has equipped hundreds of young people with the confidence, leadership skills and civic values needed to make meaningful contributions to their communities.

Guests were inspired by keynote addresses from Dr Wajid Akhter and Zara Mohammed, who reflected on the importance of faith, service and leadership. Describing Faith Inspire as “a rare diamond, highly valuable to all who engage with it,” Dr Akhter captured the organisation’s profound and lasting influence on both its participants and the wider community. Together, the speakers challenged attendees to continue investing in young people and strengthening community cohesion for generations to come.

Adding to the evening’s spiritual atmosphere were beautiful Qur’an recitations and heartfelt nasheeds performed by Sheikh Al Saeedi and Dawood Islam, creating moments of reflection and inspiration.

The celebration also featured reflections from current Chair Mostafa Hussain, alongside former Chairs Hussain Sheefar and Junaid Ahmed, who each paid tribute to the volunteers, supporters and members whose dedication has shaped Faith Inspire over the past decade.

Speaking on the organisation’s continued success, Mostafa Hussain emphasised that compassion has been the defining principle behind Faith Inspire’s journey; compassion for volunteers, supporters, contributors and, above all, the communities it serves.

Looking to the future, Mostafa unveiled Vision 2035, setting out an ambitious roadmap for the next decade.

“Tonight is not simply about reflecting on the past 10 years. It is about defining the next 10. The question before us is not, ‘What have we achieved?’ but rather, ‘What legacy will we leave behind?’”

Vision 2035 commits Faith Inspire to nurturing a new generation of confident, compassionate and faith-driven leaders; young men and women grounded in Islamic values, equipped with knowledge, character and purpose, and committed to making a positive difference in society.

The celebration concluded with a generous dinner provided by All Season Foods, offering guests an opportunity to connect, reflect and celebrate a decade of achievement together.

As Faith Inspire embarks on its next chapter, the organisation remains committed to its vision of building an exemplary Muslim community in Britain that contributes to a society where everyone can flourish. Over the past decade it has empowered individuals, strengthened communities and inspired countless acts of service. With Vision 2035 now underway, Faith Inspire looks forward to continuing that legacy for many years to come.
