Shaj Haque made history by becoming the first Bangladeshi born MMA World Champion

Shaj Haque also known as Shaj Superman Haque made history by becoming the first Bangladeshi-born MMA World Champion. A jab from South Shields + a cross from Bangladesh  = New Year New World Champ.

The title fight named “ Cage Warriors World Title ”  was held on 31st December in London. He beat current title holder Sam Creasey. He wants to inspire other young Bangladeshi athletes to pursue their ambitions in MMA because there is plenty of talent there.

Shaj wants to make more history again becoming the first Bangladeshi British fighter in the UFC. He has stacked his claim heavily in 2022 by 4wins with 2 TKOs and 1KO, beat Polish No1, French No1, and UK No1, Won and defended the Almighty Fighting Championship Title, and now became the Cage Warriors World Champion.

He was previously ranked no 1 in his category in the UK, also previously competed in Made4the Cage 2 weight (Flyweight & Bantamweight) European Champion, Cage Warriors, Fight Nights Global, and BAMMA, and was also a BAMMA World title contender in 2015.

Besides being a professional fighter he is also a coach and head coach of ACE MMA.  Where there are some great young talented amateur fighters. Hopefully, among them, we will have more Bangladeshi fighters in the professional MMA and UFC circuits.
