On Sunday 18 February 2024, the Barking Community Forum (BCF) Youth Team hosted its second inter-BCF football tournament at Mayesbrook Park in Barking. There was stiff competition between teams with lots of skills on display.

This event marked another successful endeavour by the BCF Youth Team, organised within just 5 months since the previous tournament.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our trustees, Anwar Miah and Talib Uddin, as well as, to the dedicated youth team members, for their tireless efforts in fostering community cohesion through football activities held on Sundays at Mayesbrook Park.” Said Yousuf Khan, Chairman of BCF.

The tournament culminated in a lively award ceremony where medals, delicious food, and awards were presented to the winning teams and the outstanding players of the tournament.

“This celebration not only honoured athletic achievement but also strengthened the bonds between generations within our community.” Added Yousuf.
