Thames Won’t Swallow Farage’s and Robinson’s Venoms It Waters Multi-Cultural Trees

Published: 29 July 2024

The River Thames won’t swallow the racial poisons thrown by Nigel Farage and Tommy Robinson. The trees that the River Thames waters don’t discriminate. These are for all, regardless of faith and culture. Britain is home to millions with diverse cultural backgrounds, and that’s the strength of Britain. It makes Britain Great Britain. It’s quite normal for a nation, a country that rises to the top, to rise with multinational talents. No single nation has a monopoly on knowledge or the ingredients of progress. This hasn’t happened before, nor is it the case now.

For instance, the United States of America, the most developed country on earth, houses and fosters multinational talents. J F Kennedy, Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, or Donald Trump – their roots belong to different nations. None of them is a native American. That’s normal. The world’s a stage of talented people who, facilitated by opportunities, drive advancement. Nigel Farage and Tommy Robinson don’t want that. They want to fall behind. That utterly doesn’t reflect the views and demands of the British people across the land. We all want progress, and now more than ever before.

Nigel Farage, the former UK Independence Party (UKIP) leader, has consistently shown his disdain for multiculturalism. When questioned about his German wife working as his secretary, he consistently downplayed the issue, highlighting his own perceived victimhood. This stance is particularly divisive, given that Britain’s strength lies in its diversity. Farage’s stance on immigration and integration has always been about creating divisions and, in many cases, stoking anti-immigrant sentiment.

On the other end, Tommy Robinson, a well-known far-right activist and anti-Islam campaigner, has been involved in several controversial instances, including serving prison terms and violating court orders. His violent and discriminatory actions have been widely documented, including an incident in 2019 where his supporters physically attacked anti-racism activists. His constant appeal to hatred and intolerance is the opposite of what the British people stand for.

People ousted the Tories who messed up our economy, and now Labour is determined to fix it, but they keep facing hurdles. The Chancellor is about to announce a whopping £20bn hole in our economy. It demands our collective action to fill it. But Nigel Farage and Tommy Robinson who once again were arrested by police for skipping the law lines, want to divide the people. They won’t be able to. The public isn’t with them. Because the Thames waters the trees for all of us, together we could do better.

The Thames embodies the very essence of Britain – a nation that celebrates its diversity and its cultural richness. Farage’s and Robinson’s venomous rhetoric, rooted in fear and hatred, cannot taint the Thames. Their divisive ideals run contrary to the very fabric of British society, where people from different backgrounds come together to forge a stronger nation.
