On Wednesday, 11th December, Bangladesh Probashi Kallyan Parishad (BPKP) held their planning meeting at Cafe Adda, Green Street, to strategise for the upcoming NRB Day 2024, celebrated annually on 30th December.

NRB Day, an initiative pioneered by BPKP, honours the invaluable contributions of Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) and global expats in areas such as remittance, commerce, tourism, and investment.

BPKP’s Mission and Activities:

Advocating for NRBs: Liaising with the Bangladesh government on critical issues such as land disputes, airport security, and consular support.

Empowering NRBs: Facilitating opportunities for NRBs to contribute to Bangladesh’s growth and development.

Strengthening Connections: Creating a platform to recognise and celebrate the global Bangladeshi diaspora.

We invite all NRBs and well-wishers to join us in this collective effort to make NRB Day 2024 a resounding success. Together, let’s continue to empower and celebrate the contributions of NRBs worldwide!
