Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST) Business Club organized a debate competition title“Strategic Debate Competition 2021”. Toengage, encourage and enhance students learning with activities in this pandemic, business club came up with an online debate competition which took place from 06 June to 10 June, There wasa total of 8 groups got selected for the competition.Team ‘De beats’ secure victory beating team ‘Phoenix’ in the grand finale of the first chapter of the Strategic Business Debate.‘De beats’, ‘Unanimous’, ‘Equalitarian’ and ‘Phoenix’ were four semi-finalists of the competition. Mehedi Hasan Sium from Level-2 Term-I stands out among the contestants to grab the best speaker award in the final. Treasurer Colonel Professor Md Mosharrof Hossain (Retd.), Registrar Colonel Suman Kumar Barua (Retd.), faculties from various departments were also present in the final along with the Head of the Department of Business Administration Dr.FatemaJohara. The final round was moderated by Dr.TahidurRahman and judged by the guest adjudicator from the different esteemed institutions along with the faculty members of DBA Mr.AzazZaman, Ms.UmmahaniAkter, Ms.MohinurAkterMr.MahfuzurRahman from Cumilla University and Mr. Saddam Hossain Khan, Bangladesh Academy for Securities Market; Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission.President of BAIUST Business Club SakifAlavi, Convenor Mr.Riduanul Mustafa, Head of the Department Dr.FatemaJohara, Registrar Colonel Suman Kumar Barua (Retd.) and Treasurer Colonel Professor MdMosharrofHossain (Retd.) delivered speeches in the formal session. Treasurer wishes that this sort of competition will help the university to grow and will help these institutions to be one of the best institutions in the future days.
